Revision of Mercedes C220 CDI Tuning Available

Another significant improvement developed by ZIP engineers comes in the form of Mercedes C220 CDI tuning. We had already offered tuning for that engine, so CRD3 tuning was available even before, but we moved it to a whole new level with the latest improvement.

The car we tested it on was a 2016 Mercedes C220 CDI with CRD3 ECU which we upgraded from the stock 170 hp and 400 Nm of torque to massive 250 hp and 520 Nm of twisting force.

Interestingly, we did not even have to remove the DPF, so the car is completely stock when it comes to hardware. However, the difference is more than noticeable in driving, since the added 80 hp and 120 Nm of torque provide a massive boost in all driving conditions. We also adjusted throttle response which is now even more immediate.

If you like the way this engine in its stock form delivers power, you will love our Mercedes C220 CDI tuning. Unless our customers have special requirements, we always try to follow the OEM architecture of the engine, so the extra power follows the OEM dyno measurement curves, but at a much higher level.
